Ford and foot/cycle bridge, Upper Slaughter

This should be used for access to Moreton-in-Marsh station, with cycle parking on the east side of the line.

West St in poor condition with broken paving/edging and potholes not cycle or pedestrian friendly. Highways just bodged it again not fully resurfaced.

Road in terrible condition dangerous to cyclists and needs resurfacing, winter a nightmare to use with flooding

Need to make safer for cyclist as 40mph zone that cars speed and primary route for cyclists leaving Tetbury to nicer lanes and countryside.

GWR need to make their Inter City Express Trains able to easily take tandem bicycles so disabled people are not discrimintated against when they ride with their partners. Bad for tourism!

Cycling round this corner is very dangerous as parked cars make the road very narrow and so coaches have to drive on the wrong side of the road when they leave school. I skidded off my bike infront of a bus here. Really parking should not b ... [more]

Tricky roundabout for a cyclist

Open the old branch line to Tetbury as a cycleway/footpath and provide a safe route avoiding the A433.

The whole of Long Street needs resurfacing to make it safe for cycling. There are long cracks that could trap a tyre and too many dangerous holes or lumps to count. It's appalling - I have already reported the holes and cracks to the counci ... [more]

Crossing for Bourton-Kingham cycle way

Bourton to Kingham cycle way

Convert former Bourton to Kingham railway track to cycle or multiuser trail

Very dangerous bend for cyclists. Cars approaching blind bend at 60mph where 2 carriageways merge into one. Crazy! Needs a marked cycle space or, better, physical separation.

Only cycleable road out of Cheltenham to East. Needs segregated cycleway.

Extend the Tetbury Trail to provide a safe off-road route to Kemble Station

Love lane is the nicest safest route into town and I’m really glad the no bikes sign was taken down. It is fixed width but people have been very courteous using it during lockdown

You can cross here from the safer route cycling to Tesco’s on the way to school but it’s very difficult to safely cross. Really need some sort of one way system, just around school hours

I’d like to see a zebra crossing here. A lot of people and kids on bikes cross over on this corner and sometimes cars are really haring round

Crossing this road is very dangerous, very often cars are speeding up to leave town and are going far beyond the 30 miles an hour. There needs to be a crossing to allow safe walking and cycling across the road.

Cycle from Bourton on the Water to The Slaughters without needing to cycle on the busy FosseWay

Add cycleways to allow a safe route to / from Long Newnton and reduce speed limit to 30mph. This is a dangerous stretch of road with high speed traffic. From Long Newnton there are quiet, safe lanes to surrounding villages and out to Cotswo ... [more]

We need cycle provision throughout the town and on the A roads leading out to country roads to make cycling safe and encourage more of us to do it.

This roundabout and the way drivers use it is very dangerous if you are on a bike. Drivers cut straight across it and do always properly stop and look particularly if they are coming up from the Chipping Car Park.

Add cycle stands

Invest in restoring the rail track to Kemble station as a cycle path.

Remove parking spaces from the road to allow for better traffic flow and cycle lane.

Add cycle lanes to allow safe use of bikes to get into town, out to Westonbirt and out to Cherrington.

Add cycle stands to allow bikes to be locked whilst visiting town.

Junction unsafe for use by cyclists, especially at rush hour. A better system to control the junction is required, where cyclists are given refuge and priority access.

High speed vehicles makes cycling unsafe, especially for children. A cycle lane would facilitate safer access to Westonbirt Arboretum and Malmesbury (via Shipton Moyne).

Would be good to have a cycleway from Barrells Rd leading into Town Hall. Some bike stations there on the Market Place behind the Town Hall would be very useful to leave the bike safely.

Make sure there is two cycling allowed here

The Riverside path is used by cyclists already and provides a good option to access the town centre. Improvements and some changes may be needed, but it provides an alternative to cycling along the roads as people come down from Stratton cy ... [more]

Busy road and narrow pavement. Reduce speed limit or improve space for cyclists.

There are many potholes in this area and cars drive very fast in a narrow stretch. There is a narrow pavement for pedestrians - no protected cycle way. Would love for my 8 year old to be able to cycle to town but fear that would be a death ... [more]

There are many potholes in this area and cars drive very fast in a narrow stretch. There is a pavement but not cycle way. Would love for my 8 year old to be able to cycle to town but fear that would be a death sentence.

There are many potholes in this stretch (and most of town to be honest) that makes it unsafe to be able to cycle on the road. Sometimes have to swerve at last minute to dodge and just hope there isn’t a car there.

It is a path but haven't been looked after for yerars. It needs clearing. It has become very narrow and overgrowen.

Widening and segregation of existing shared cyclepath. Extension of cyclepath right up to turn for Baunton Lane. Safe crossing from main roads out of Stratton to cycle path, across Gloucester Road. Extension of cycle path from end by petrol ... [more]

Cycle lane disappears after junction. Needs to be extended all the way up into the housing estate and Kingshill school

Path joining Beeches Road with Cirencester Primary School currently barred to cyclists. An alternative route exists via rough-surfaces path with permission but not well known or signed. Clarity or permission would permit cycling access fr ... [more]

Permit cycling against the one-way system to join the shared pedestrian/cycle path from Stratton with roads heading into town. At present the only choices are a narrow riverside path (shared with pedestrians) or the busy main road which is ... [more]

The cycle lane is painted onto the right hand side of the road. Fine if you're heading into town but puts you in the path of oncoming cars if you're going the other way! Needs segregation

Street furniture for traffic calming, plus on-street parking, can make this street a real challenge for bikes as well as cars. High stress, limited overtaking opportunities, close passes. Creating a segregated bike lane and removing on-st ... [more]

This mini roundabout and the nearby Waitrose roundabout are necessary to access the town’s leisure centre. Cars drive out without looking or simply bully cyclists. A protective cycle lane from this roundabout up Tetbury road would be a ... [more]

There is no safe access suitable for children from St Michaels Park area to the town centre. The road is wide enough here for a segregated cycle lane from Tower Street all the way round the back of the police station to Cricklade Street.

The bridge should allow cyclist access eg. With speed limited to walking pace.

This is used as a rat-run. Cars park here to avoid car park fee. The road is wide enough for a segregated cycle way to allow local residents access to town by reclaimImg parking space.

The existing cycle path is very dangerous due to appalling design. A segregated cycle way, suitable for children, linking to the town centre and playground in Abbey grounds is needed

This one-way Road is at least 3 cars wide. Reclaim a third for a segregated 2-way cycle lane, linking st. Michael’s Park the existing cycle way under the ring road.

Add segregated cycle path for children to get to school. Link to abbey grounds and town centre

Add cycle lane to link up town centre to the existing cycle lane to the leisure centre

There is no safe way out of town to the south (eg to leisure centre) because of the one-way system. Add Segregated counter flow Cycle lane.

Access to allow children to cycle to school. Divide road in 3: Make the road one way, middle third for parking and final third for segregated cycling

No safe access out of town

There is plenty of room here for a cycle path. It is too dangerous to cycle along this road, especially with children. It was my route from home to my children's school.

National Cycle Route 45 - the alternative is a dangerous dual carriageway. Why this former railway can't be given a surface is beyond me. This locks people out of active travel. https://t.co/8AZIRax7O5 [approximate location]

No Through Road to Maugresbury from the Fosse Way - open for pedestrians and cyclists, of course.
